I’m Kayla, the founder and stylist behind KJ Beauty Room. A Houston native and licensed hairstylist since 2012, I’m passionate about healthy hair, beautiful transformations, and creating an experience where you feel confident and cared for. KJ Beauty Room is more than a place to get your hair done, it’s your space to invest in your hair, your confidence, and yourself. The place people go when they want to grow, strengthen, repair, and maintain their real hair. At KJBeautyRoom, healthy hair isn't an accident; it's a process. Every client, whether you're embracing your natural texture or restoring damaged strands, moves through our signature Healthy Hair Journey: a six-step system built to understand your hair, address what's holding it back, and deliver results you can see and maintain.
CANCELLATION POLICY
***Timeliness Policy*** Please arrive on time for your appointment so we can provide you with the full Beauty Room experience and stay on schedule for every client. KJ Beauty Room allows a 15-minute grace period. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your service being shortened or adjusted to accommodate the remaining appointment time. Arrivals 30 minutes or more past the scheduled appointment time may be considered a missed appointment and will need to be rescheduled. A rescheduling fee may apply. If you know you are running late, please contact the Beauty Room as soon as possible. While we will always do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to extend your appointment time. Thank you for respecting your appointment time and the clients scheduled after you. At KJ BeautyRoom, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. Same day cancellations and no shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Clients who repeatedly cancel, reschedule, or no show may be required to pay the full service balance in advance before booking future appointments. All cancellation fees MUST be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled. Emergencies will be handled at KJ BeautyRoom’s discretion. PLEASE NOTE: Your appointment is not considered canceled or rescheduled until you receive confirmation from KJ BeautyRoom. Leaving a voicemail, text or social media message does not automatically cancel an appointment.
